The Greater Auburn-Gresham Development Corporation (GADC) works to foster and promote revitalization of the low-to-moderate income neighborhoods of Auburn-Gresham, Englewood and West Chatham.

This organization offers after school programs and youth mentoring opportunities for the residents of Ashburn. They also have computer literacy programs and summer programs which aims to promote positive outcomes for Ashburn youth.

This high school will be LEED certified at the silver level for schools. The school will have a green and reflective roof as well as a reading garden.

This school was recently designated as LEED certified with a 25% green roof.

The Ashburn Lutheran School organized a “Go Green for God’s Earth Fair.” Students were instrumental in creating the invent which was attended by over 150 people and demonstrated the importance of recycle in the community.

This school was recently designated as LEED certified for Schools Silver certification which includes a 25% green roof.
The school also holds several ‘green’ clubs such as a healthier eating club and a garden club
