Aztlan Community Industries partners with the Messiah and St. Bartholomew Episcopal Church in hosting gardens on their property.

The Messiah and St. Bartholomew Episcopal Church plants and maintains a vegetable garden of 20 raised beds. Families from the church help care for the garden and the food is given to people in need.

This Avalon Park is home to a community garden where residents assist in upkeep.

The Avalon Park Branch features environmentally sustainable construction under the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System, developed by the U.S. Green Building Council.
